URCOTEX I S.L.U., we are the fourth generation of a family company dedicated to construction which started its activity in the second decade of the last century under the name of CASIMIR SALA CALMET. It then continued under the name of “HIJOS DE CASIMIR SALA”. In 1935 it carried on its activity under the name of “ESTEBAN SALA I VILÁ, CONSTRUCTOR DE OBRAS”.
In 1985, as a result of the Chairman of the Board of Directors’ retirement, his sons got involved constituting the new society URCOTEX I S.L. continuing with the same criteria of solvency, responsibility and high quality work.
We undertake all kinds of jobs: civil constructions, public work and monument restoration, in which we are a leading company.
At URCOTEX we have a large team of professionals formed of Civil Engineers, Industrial Engineers, Chemical Engineers, Upper level Architects, Technical Architects, Technical Mining Engineers, Technical Telecommunications Engineers, Law graduates, administrative staff and highly qualified construction staff on continuous training programmes.
This team along with its own wide range of machinery, allows us to successfully complete the work we undertake.
URCOTEX I. S.L.U. is dedicated to constructing industrial buildings, housing development, public works, demolition, and restoration and renovation work on heritage monuments. In this area of construction, we have specialised staff and their work has received the following awards:
